The posting

Your mission:

  • Design and maintain the SCADA database architecture
  • Develop retention, aggregation and storage concepts
  • Optimize database performance and resource utilization
  • Develop database migration and recovery mechanisms
  • Define and maintain container orchestration for the SCADA system
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate builds, testing, packaging and deployments
  • Provide monitoring and observability solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Backend, Systems and Test engineers

Your profile:

  • 3+ years as DevOps/Database engineer
  • TimeScaleDB or comparable time-series database
  • Database lifecycle management and performance optimizations
  • Podman and container orchestration
  • Backup and recovery concepts
  • CI/CD and build automation
  • Experience in agile software development
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands-on in industrial cybersecurity
  • Bonus: Experience with SCADA or comparable industrial systems
