Drive Contract Strategy on Industry-Defining Mission-Critical Projects

The successful delivery of hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure requires more than exceptional construction execution. It demands disciplined contract management, proactive risk mitigation, effective change management, and strong commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

As a Contracts Manager with Michels Infrastructure Solutions, you will play a critical role in protecting project interests, supporting commercial success, and ensuring contractual obligations are effectively managed from project pursuit through final closeout.

About Michels Infrastructure Solutions

Michels Infrastructure Solutions (MIS) brings together the full capabilities of the Michels Family of Companies under a Super General Contractor (Super GC) model, providing mission-critical owners and developers with a single point of accountability for every phase of project execution.

By combining self-performed specialty design, construction, and commissioning services, MIS delivers large-scale, multidisciplinary projects with greater control over safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

What You'll Do

  • Administer owner contracts, subcontracts, supplier agreements, consulting agreements, and other project-related contracts.
  • Review contract terms and conditions to identify risks, obligations, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain contract logs, notice registers, change order trackers, and contractual correspondence files.
  • Support project teams with contract interpretation and contractual issue resolution.
  • Lead change management processes, including notice preparation, change requests, cost impacts, schedule impacts, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Controls and Scheduling teams to evaluate schedule impacts associated with changes and commercial events.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of claims, requests for equitable adjustment, dispute avoidance strategies, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of contractual communications, directives, potential changes, delays, productivity impacts, and other project events.
  • Collaborate with Procurement teams on supplier and subcontractor contractual matters.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Risk Management, Finance, and Executive Leadership regarding significant contractual and commercial issues.
  • Support project pursuits and proposal development through contract review and risk assessment activities.
  • Prepare commercial reports, contract summaries, risk assessments, executive updates, and contractual performance metrics.
  • Participate in project reviews, customer meetings, commercial strategy discussions, and project closeout activities.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted commercial advisor to Project Directors, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Executive Leadership.
  • Promote contract awareness and commercial discipline across project teams.
  • Assist in the development of contract administration procedures, standards, and best practices.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
