Part 1 — Executive Brief

Why This Role, Why Now: MicroMitti has scaled to 92+ professionals across primary operating entities (Micromitti Real Estate Ventures Pvt Ltd and MicroMitti Infrastructures Pvt Ltd). With flagship developments—including Cyber City on the Super Corridor, Micro Mahal (Hospitality), and an incoming Dubai/GCC entity—launching concurrently, operational command must transition from the founder. The CEO will shift focus entirely to capital raising, policy advocacy, and strategic expansion. The COO will assume full day-to-day command with total operating authority and P&L accountability.

Target Profile Summary

A Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Tier-1 MBA (Finance), or CFA Charterholder with 15–20 years' experience, 8+ years in real estate or RE finance, and 5+ years running a business unit/P&L. Must have scaled an enterprise 3x+ and be committed to long-term relocation to Indore.

4. Comprehensive Job Description

Part 2 — Core Position Specs

Role Summary: The COO is the number-two executive at MicroMitti and the operating head of the business. You will inherit a company built for 20 people, now operating at 90+ across multi-legal entities and multi-city projects. Your core mission is to construct the operating machine, institutionalize processes, and scale revenue and asset throughput.

5. Decision Rights & Delegation of Authority Matrix

Within the first 30 days, a formalized Delegation of Authority matrix will be signed. The governance boundary is structured as follows:

6. Core Operational Mandates & Ownership

P&L & Commercial Growth

Own revenue, gross margin, and bottom-line targets. Drive investor acquisition, AUM growth, and repeat investment ratios. Lead weekly operating reviews with single-source-of-truth metrics dashboards.

Transactions & Investor Journey

Institutionalize the end-to-end investor flow: onboarding, KYC, capital deployment, land title transfer, and reporting. Ensure strict turnarounds and zero compliance errors across every parcel.

Project Delivery (MMIPL)

Directly supervise construction progress on Cyber City, Micro Mahal, and future developments. Enforce stage-gate reviews, contractor performance, timeline adherence, and cost accounting.

Finance, Governance & Risk

Ensure cash-flow discipline, project unit economics, and tax compliance (RERA, GST, Companies Act, GCC cross-border rules). Maintain a dynamic risk register with clear risk owners.

12-Month Success Criteria

Hit all revenue, AUM, and margin targets with zero variance ambiguity • Cyber City & Micro Mahal on schedule against published milestones • CEO's time successfully redirected to capital and growth • Pass institutional due diligence without scrambling • Functional head layer fully staffed and performing.

7. Candidate Qualifications & Screening Criteria

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Education: CA (ICAI), Tier-1 MBA Finance (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR), or CFA Charterholder.
  • Total Experience: 15–20 years of professional track record.
  • P&L Leadership: 5+ years as COO, CEO, Business Head, or GM with full multi-functional business ownership.
  • Domain Depth: 8+ years in real estate, infrastructure, or RE finance (Developer, REIT, PropTech, PE/NBFC).
  • Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience in land aggregation, title due diligence, RERA, and approvals.
  • Financial & Institutional Scale: Cash-flow management, working capital discipline, and institutional due diligence experience.
  • Scale Track Record: Proven history scaling an org through a 3x+ growth phase (e.g., 50 to 150+ staff).
  • Relocation: Confirmed readiness for full-time residence in Indore; fluent in English and Hindi.

Preferred Attributes

  • Technical Credentials: B.Arch, B.Tech Civil, MRICS, or post-grad in Urban Planning / Real Estate.
  • Founder-Operator Fit: Experienced as an effective number-two to a visionary founder.
  • Multi-Entity Governance: Experience with group companies, holding structures, and overseas subsidiaries (GCC).
  • Capital Handling: Familiarity with AIF/Fund onboarding, capital calls, and investor reporting.
