Overview

The Global Partner Development Manager for Pax8 is a strategic business leader responsible for accelerating Microsoft's growth through one of its global cloud distribution partners. The role sits at the intersection of partner strategy, sales execution, marketplace innovation, and Microsoft's cloud and AI priorities, translating global opportunities into scalable business models and measurable outcomes across markets.

As the Global PDM, you will own the global partner strategy and Partner Business Plan, identify new sources of growth, build joint business strategies, and orchestrate Microsoft and Pax8 stakeholders across geographies and solution areas. You will help shape how Pax8 enables its partner ecosystem to build capabilities, take differentiated Microsoft solutions to market, and create sustainable customer value through cloud, AI, Security, Modern Work, and Business Applications.

This role offers the opportunity to influence the evolution of digital-first distribution and how Microsoft reaches and serves customers through the global MSP ecosystem. You will work with leaders across Microsoft and Pax8, solve complex cross-organizational challenges, and turn joint strategy into repeatable growth motions that can scale globally.

The role is a critical force multiplier for Microsoft, creating alignment across organizations and helping translate Microsoft's strategic priorities into partner capability, marketplace execution, customer impact, and measurable growth.

Responsibilities

Global Partner Strategy & Business Planning

  • Own and execute the global Partner Business Plan with Pax8, establishing a long-range growth strategy aligned to Microsoft and partner priorities.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and business models that leverage Pax8's digital distribution platform, marketplace, services capabilities, and partner ecosystem.
  • Translate global strategy into clear priorities, targets, investments, and execution plans across regions and solution areas.
  • Establish a global rhythm of business to measure progress, identify opportunities and risks, and maintain accountability for business outcomes.

Sales Growth & Marketplace Execution

  • Drive joint sales, customer acquisition, consumption, and growth strategies across Microsoft's priority solution areas.
  • Develop scalable go-to-market motions that enable partners to sell, implement, and monetize Microsoft cloud and AI solutions.
  • Accelerate marketplace-led growth by identifying opportunities to simplify partner activation and scale repeatable Microsoft offers across geographies.
  • Use business insights, pipeline, partner performance, and market signals to identify growth gaps and prioritize actions that improve business outcomes.
  • Drive effective utilization of Microsoft programs, incentives, and investments against clearly defined outcomes and return on investment.

This emphasis reflects Pax8's current plans to scale centrally developed offers across the Americas, EMEA and APAC through CoEs, professional services and marketplace delivery.

Partner Transformation & Ecosystem Activation

  • Influence Pax8's investment in the capabilities required to accelerate partner adoption of Microsoft cloud and AI solutions.
  • Build joint strategies that help partners advance from initial enablement to developing repeatable practices, services, and recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Accelerate MSP readiness through targeted skilling, sales enablement, technical capability, services, and go-to-market activation.
  • Develop scalable approaches that meet partners at different stages of cloud and AI maturity and help them progress toward higher-value solution and services capabilities.
  • Connect Microsoft's solution priorities to the economics and business models that create sustainable value for Pax8 and its partner ecosystem.

Pax8's existing PDM material specifically describes meeting partners at their stage of maturity and enabling them to sell, implement, and monetize AI, supported through capabilities such as co-sell, professional services and its marketplace.

Global Partner Leadership & Executive Engagement

  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with executive stakeholders across Pax8.
  • Influence partner strategy, investment decisions, capability development, and resource allocation toward shared growth priorities.
  • Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning discussions, bringing clear insights, recommendations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary global orchestrator across Microsoft sales, technical, marketing, finance, partner, and solution-area stakeholders.
  • Create alignment across global and regional organizations and remove cross-functional barriers that inhibit growth or execution.

Global Orchestration & Execution

  • Connect global strategy with regional execution, ensuring consistency of priorities while enabling appropriate adaptation to individual markets.
  • Orchestrate Microsoft and Pax8 teams across geographies and functions around shared objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify successful motions and establish repeatable models that can be scaled across markets.
  • Surface and resolve strategic blockers requiring global leadership intervention.
  • Maintain accountability for translating commitments, investments, and joint plans into measurable execution and business impact.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
