Your Role: As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users, logging and managing incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
  • Deliver prompt first-level remote technical support and issue resolution across Windows and Apple macOS environments.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Manage user mailboxes, licenses, security groups, and cloud applications within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • Perform basic server monitoring, routine health checks, and initial triage for core IT infrastructure.
  • Escalate complex hardware, network, or server incidents to higher-tier support teams with detailed troubleshooting notes.

What You Need: Non-negotiables

  • Proven experience in a 1st Line / Tier 1 IT Support or Service Desk role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365) user and license administration.
  • Solid technical background in Active Directory management and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting expertise across both Windows (10/11) and Apple macOS operating systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifting schedules in a hybrid setup based in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Foundational understanding of server operating systems (Windows Server / Linux) and basic server troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with enterprise remote management, ITIL service management frameworks, and modern ticketing tools.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or ITIL 4 Foundation.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and hardware/software problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
