Your Role As a Property Management Accounts Administrator, you are responsible for:

  • Invoice Entry
  • Overdue invoice audit
  • Direct debits – setup, adjustment, uploads
  • Mid/End month processing
  • Water/rate accounts
  • Daily bank statement/dishonours
  • Managing over paid rent
  • General account issues (ie reimbursement to owners, change of commission, adjustment of tenant vacate dates etc)
  • Insurance renewals - creditors
  • Lost management checklists and finalisation of computer file
  • Setting up new creditors
  • Arrears rent/water – first contact SMS
  • Meeting minutes information
  • New management checklists checked off

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or recently completed training in accounting or equivalent education in accounting
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to understand and work with financial data
  • Demonstrated ability to handle numbers, even without formal accounting training
  • Practical experience or knowledge in specific accounting areas, such as trust accounting, is highly valued
  • Open to candidates without formal accounting experience, provided they can demonstrate proficiency in numerical and financial tasks
