What You'll Do

  • Review and interpret complex investment transactions, including detailed legal documentation, to identify technical accounting and financial reporting implications in a timely manner
  • Provide accounting guidance for private credit activities, strategic transactions, and business development initiatives
  • Participate actively in internal and external deal discussions to help ensure transactions are structured and accounted for appropriately
  • Prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting analyses and engage directly with external advisors and auditors to formalize conclusions
  • Partner across Business Development, Structuring, Legal, Tax, Operations, Investor Relations, and Finance as a trusted cross-functional stakeholder
  • Prepare and review internal reporting materials for the private credit business, along with related U.S. GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures
  • Support broader priorities across the Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy group, including monthly reporting, year-end audit processes, and other ad hoc workstreams

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial services, including experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or within a private credit fund
  • CPA or equivalent qualification required
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP technical accounting matters, including practical experience with investment company accounting under ASC 946
  • Strong understanding of credit investment products, related accounting and disclosure requirements under U.S. GAAP, and associated operational and valuation considerations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting topics clearly and practically to a range of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, sound analytical judgment, and a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Strong technical proficiency with web-based applications and Microsoft Office; experience with financial reporting systems, Alteryx, and AI tools is a plus

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
