Company Description

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is an end-to-end power solutions and services provider that accelerates time-to-power and delivers scalable, resilient infrastructure for mission critical environments. By integrating engineering, manufacturing, modular deployment, and lifecycle services under one platform, we streamline execution and bring complex projects online faster - without compromising performance. With a robust U.S. manufacturing network, MCG supports data centers, power generation, healthcare, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and industrial facilities where uptime is non-negotiable. Mission Critical Group designs, manufactures and provides value-added services for customers requiring critical power solutions. Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.

Job Description

MCG is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee and drive projects that enhance operational performance, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role will manage multiple projects across our manufacturing operations — coordinating resources, schedules, budgets, and communications to ensure successful execution from planning through delivery.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and consistently delivers results on time and within budget.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables aligned with production goals and business objectives.
  • Define project scope, resource needs, and objectives in collaboration with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment, communication, and timely completion of milestones.
  • Manage budgets, cost tracking, and procurement activities, ensuring all projects remain financially on target.
  • Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with MCG standards.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks by identifying issues early and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing leadership to minimize production disruptions and optimize resource utilization.
  • Support quality control and assurance processes throughout each project phase.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to document lessons learned and implement improvements for future initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with company and OSHA standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operations environment required.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production scheduling, and equipment installation or modification.
  • Experience managing capital projects, vendor coordination, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and deliver projects within financial constraints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or project management software preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong ability to motivate cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding MCG’s culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
