By integrating engineering, manufacturing, modular deployment, and lifecycle services under one platform, we streamline execution and bring complex projects online faster - without compromising performance. With a robust U.S. manufacturing network, MCG supports data centers, power generation, healthcare, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and industrial facilities where uptime is non-negotiable. Mission Critical Group designs, manufactures and provides value-added services for customers requiring critical power solutions. Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.

Job Description

Summary: The Vice President, Treasury leads MCG's enterprise treasury function, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, capital structure and debt management, banking relationships, and financial risk management. This leader builds the policies, processes, and systems needed to support a rapidly scaling, multi-entity business, provides strategic insight on capital allocation and funding, and partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Corporate Development to support growth and acquisitions.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead all aspects of enterprise treasury, including cash management, liquidity planning, banking, debt, investments, and financial risk management.
  • Own the 13-week cash flow forecast and longer-range liquidity outlook; deliver clear, accurate cash and liquidity reporting to the CAO, CFO and executive leadership.
  • Optimize cash positioning, concentration, and working capital across MCG's operating units and legal entities, partnering with operations on receivables, payables, and inventory.
  • Manage the company's credit facilities and debt portfolio, including covenant compliance, borrowing base reporting, lender communications, and amendments or refinancings.
  • Support capital structure strategy and funding decisions, including evaluation of financing alternatives and preparation of materials for lenders, rating agencies, and the Board.
  • Lead treasury workstreams for acquisitions, including funding, cash and banking integration, and post-close treasury onboarding of acquired businesses.
  • Manage banking relationships and bank account structure; lead RFPs and rationalize banking partners, services, and fees.
  • Oversee surety, bonding, and letters of credit capacity to support customer projects and contract requirements.
  • Develop and maintain treasury policies and controls, including investment, hedging, bank account and signatory authority, and payment controls to prevent fraud.
  • Evaluate and manage exposure to interest rate, foreign currency, and commodity risk; recommend and execute hedging strategies as appropriate.
  • Select and implement treasury management systems and automation to improve visibility, efficiency, and control.
  • Partner with Insurance/Risk, Tax, and Accounting on treasury-related matters, including intercompany funding, cash repatriation, and accounting for debt and derivatives.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing treasury team.

Attributes

  • Have Humanity: You build trusted, collaborative relationships with operators, lenders, and banking partners. You lead your team with care and respect.
  • Be Transparent: You communicate the company's cash and liquidity position openly and accurately. You share risks and bad news early and without spin.
  • Drive Innovation: You bring new tools, structures, and ideas to how MCG funds growth and manages cash. You are always looking for better ways to reduce risk and cost.
  • Be Resilient: You remain composed and solution-oriented through market volatility and tight funding timelines. You keep complex transactions moving when the pressure is on.
  • Always Reliable: You make sure cash is where it needs to be and covenants are always met. You deliver forecasts the business can confidently plan around.
  • Grit: You roll up your sleeves to build treasury infrastructure in a fast-growing company. You follow through on the details that matter most.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA and/or CFA or CTP preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with 10+ years in corporate treasury and 5+ years leading a treasury team.
  • Proven experience with cash forecasting, liquidity management, and debt management in a multi-entity organization of comparable size and complexity.
  • Hands-on experience managing credit facilities, lender relationships, covenant compliance, and financing transactions.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions and integrating treasury operations of acquired businesses strongly preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or project-based businesses preferred, including surety bonding and letters of credit.
  • Knowledge of hedging instruments and financial risk management; working knowledge of related accounting considerations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
