Um diese Vision weiter voranzutreiben, suchen wir Verstärkung für unser Engineering Team, idealerweise in Frankfurt oder remote innerhalb Deutschlands. Gestalte die Zukunft des Daten- und Messaging-Ökosystems der Deutschen Bahn mit und entwickle zentrale Backend-Systeme, die den Echtzeit-Datenaustausch zwischen verschiedenen Systemen zuverlässig ermöglichen.

Was dich erwartet

  • Du arbeitest an einer Plattform, die den Echtzeit-Datenaustausch zwischen einer Vielzahl von Systemen, insbesondere innerhalb des DB Konzerns, ermöglicht
  • Du entwickelst skalierbare Backend-Komponenten auf Basis von Java und bringst deine Erfahrung mit Frameworks wie Spring oder Quarkus ein
  • Du entwickelst und betreibst Services innerhalb einer Kafka-zentrierten Plattform und gestaltest deren Skalierung, Stabilität und Performance aktiv mit
  • Du entwickelst Lösungen im Bereich Messaging (Kafka, MQTT, AMQP) und kennst die typischen Herausforderungen kontinuierlicher Streaming-Systeme
  • Du implementierst und betreibst klassische Schnittstellen wie REST, GraphQL, RPC oder WebSockets

Was wir suchen

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Java Backend-Entwicklung (5+ Jahre) idealerweise mit modernen Frameworks wie Spring oder Quarkus
  • Erfahrung mit Event-Streaming und Messaging, vorzugsweise Apache Kafka, gerne ergänzt durch MQTT oder AMQP
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in SQL-Datenbanken sowie mehrjährige Cloud-Erfahrung, idealerweise in AWS
  • Praktische Erfahrung im Aufbau, der Konfiguration und dem Betrieb von CI/CD-Pipelines mit GitLab, Docker und Bash-Scripting
  • Sicherer Umgang mit strukturierten Datenformaten wie JSON, Protobuf oder Avro sowie idealerweise Kenntnisse in der Datenanalyse und -verarbeitung, z. B. mit Python
  • Außerdem zeichnest Du dich durch ein hohes Maß an Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke und Eigeninitiative aus
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und kannst Dich sowohl mündlich als auch schriftlich gut auf Englisch verständigen
