About monday.com http://monday.com

monday.com http://monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

About the Team BigBrain is monday.com http://monday.com's Data Platform group and the home of the company's AI innovation.

AI Foundations is a senior team. We give every monday.com http://monday.com employee and AI agent safe access to the company's data at scale. We own:

- BigBrain Studio: a generative AI product that turns any employee's idea into a live, hosted app or dashboard, safely running on sensitive data through our built-in governance layer.

- Events pipeline: streams billions of production events into Snowflake for company-wide analytics.

- The tool layer: the BigBrain MCP Gateway exposes 100+ internal and external tools (Salesforce, NetSuite, Tableau, Datadog, Sentry, and more) to Claude Code, Cursor, n8n, and our own agents.

- The agent stack: our LangChain/LangGraph-based agent framework powering production agents, plus ATP (Agent Tool Protocol), our open-source protocol for agents to run code in a secure, isolated environment.

- Identity and governance: authentication, authorization, and entitlements for employees and AI agents, so every action is tied to a real identity and real permissions.

- Secure data access: per-user permission enforcement on every query to the company's most sensitive data.

We work AI-first: our knowledge base is written for Claude, our workflows are automated with agents, and we expect engineers to push what AI-assisted engineering can do. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of core parts of this platform: shipping product, setting technical direction, and raising the bar for the team. The role is based at our Tel Aviv headquarters.

About the role:

- Build generative AI products people love.

- Build and evolve our agent stack.

- Scale our MCP Gateway.

- Secure AI agents end-to-end.

- Own BigBrain Identity.

- Guard sensitive data.

- Own production.

- Lead and mentor.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of backend or full-stack engineering, owning cloud-native production systems at scale (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD).

- Hands-on with LLMs and agents: agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph or similar), tool calling, prompt and context engineering, evals, and LLM observability.

- Strong system design: APIs, SDKs, and platforms that many teams consume, evolved without breaking anyone.

- Solid auth knowledge (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, service-to-service, least privilege) and a security-first mindset with sensitive data and credentials.

- Strong ownership: you take ambiguous problems from idea to production and keep them healthy.

- Strong communicator and collaborator, with experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring.

- Heavy daily user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).

Advantages

- MCP: building servers or gateways, OAuth for MCP, and tool governance.

- Policy and entitlements: OPA/Rego, SCIM, RBAC/ABAC, or identity governance platforms.

- Agent security: sandboxed code execution, agent identity and delegation, human-in-the-loop approvals, and audit trails.

- Data platforms: Snowflake, data-access governance (Satori or similar), and Kafka/CDC.

- Internal platforms and SDKs: owning release and versioning across many consumers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
