The posting

We are seeking a Director of Global Strategic Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, and investor communications across our global organization.

This is a senior finance position that serves as the strategic financial partner to the Chief Financial Officer and the Board of Directors. You will own the global financial planning and forecasting process, manage investor relations and board reporting, lead the global consolidation and close cycle, oversee capital allocation and investment governance across the enterprise, and support M&A strategy and transaction modeling. This role is responsible for translating strategic ambition into financial discipline and ensuring capital deployment decisions are made with rigor and alignment to shareholder value.

You will report to the Senior Director of Global Strategic Finance and work as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership and the board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global financial planning and forecasting process — Own annual budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-range planning across all business units and geographies; manage the planning calendar, consolidate submissions, validate assumptions, and deliver a unified financial plan to leadership and the Board; drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and speed.
  • Own global consolidation and financial close processes — Manage P&L consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and variance analysis; ensure accuracy and timeliness in monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles; oversee multiple reporting views (GAAP, non-GAAP, management reporting); drive process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support Board and investor reporting — Prepare quarterly board packages, financial narratives, and investor updates; model strategic scenarios and covenant compliance; support IR function with earnings guidance, long-range guidance, and investor materials; ensure all board-facing materials are rigorous, consistent, and aligned.
  • Lead enterprise investment governance and capital allocation — Build and maintain capital allocation frameworks; model ROI, payback, and scenario outcomes for strategic initiatives across all business functions; develop go/no-go decision criteria; present investment trade-offs and recommendations to leadership and the Board; track project ROI realization post-close.
  • Drive global strategic planning and scenario analysis — Build sophisticated financial models for strategic options (organic growth, M&A, divestitures, portfolio optimization); develop base case, upside, and downside scenarios; stress-test against macro and operational sensitivities; model exit-readiness scenarios (IPO, strategic sale, refinancing); ensure models support board-level decision-making.
  • Support M&A and transaction strategy — Lead acquisition financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and transaction modeling; build synergy cases and integration financial plans; support post-acquisition financial reporting and carve-out modeling; evaluate divestiture opportunities and financial implications; partner with deal teams on economics and decision frameworks.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and covenant compliance — Track debt covenants, liquidity metrics, and key financial performance indicators against targets; model liquidity under various scenarios; highlight trends and variance drivers; escalate risks early; provide guidance to leadership on financial headroom and strategic implications.
  • Oversee global financial reporting accuracy and controls — Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and other accounting standards; drive accuracy in revenue recognition, cost allocation, and intercompany eliminations; partner with Accounting and Audit to maintain strong financial controls and improve reporting systems.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to leadership — Analyze business performance drivers, unit economics, and market trends; develop actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions; partner with business leaders to model the financial impact of strategic initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience — including three-statement financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and business analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A — with exposure to board-level reporting and executive partnership.
  • PE-backed or growth-stage SaaS experience — Comfort working in a high-growth, capital-constrained environment where rigorous financial analysis drives strategic decisions; understanding of sponsor expectations and exit optionality.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
