Compensation: $19 - $23/hour, depending on shift & experience. Shift Times:

 2nd Shift - 2p-10p  3rd Shift - 10p-6a 12 hour days on a 2-2-3 rotation - 6a-6p 12 hour nights on a 2-2-3 rotation - 6p-6a

Responsibilities for Press Assistants: 

Assists the Press Operator: set up materials, printing press feed, printing units with ink and other supplies and logistics activities.  Maintains job information in ERP system. Assures quality - realizes specifications of printing job. Performs daily maintenance and preventive maintenance and cleaning of printing press to ensure a clean working environment. Operates a transporter pallet, operates interface of the printing press and Cutstar control panel.

Responsibilities for Finishing Operators:

Continuously checks for print and seam quality. Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification. Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary). Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them. Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).

Responsibilities for Production Associates:     

Transport the printed and de-stacked sheets from the drying area to the finishing machines and de-stacking elevators Prepare the printed sheets to be processed through the finishing machines, respecting the required drying time; by jogging the printed sheets and introducing air in between they can be processed more easily Ensure that a good feed of the die cutting machine is maintained; solve any occurring problems in the feeding guide of the die-cutting machine Assist the die-cutting operator when and where needed

Qualifications:

Work SAFELY- Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures Be DEPENDABLE- regular and predictable attendance and work overtime when required Be a TEAM PLAYER- ability to assist others with machine set‐up, run, and clean up Be CARING- respect others and communicate openly Strong Communication, organization and prioritization skills Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activities Quality conscious and customer focused Self-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skills Must be able to lift 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on an occasional basis Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

 Other considerations:

Wear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing setting Work flexible/varying schedules and hours as needed Work overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines
