In addition to on-site automation, the location is supported by Murphy's Central Fill services for chronic medication dispensing and blister packaging. This integrated model allows pharmacists to spend less time on dispensing processes and more time working directly with patients and providing clinical services.

Specialized Compounding Services

Parkdale's full-service non-sterile compounding laboratory enables the team to provide customized medication solutions tailored to individual patient needs. Whether adapting dosage forms, creating specialty preparations, or addressing unique therapeutic requirements, compounding services allow pharmacists to make a meaningful difference for patients who may not be served by standard commercial products. Parkdale is staffed by an experienced dispensary team with routine pharmacy technician coverage and skilled pharmacy assistants who provide valuable day-to-day operational support. Combined with our Virtual Pharmacy Support Services team, which assists with phone calls, patient triage, prescription data entry, and other administrative functions, pharmacists are empowered to practice at their full scope and focus on delivering clinical services and direct patient care.

Practice at Full Scope with Industry-Leading Support

Parkdale Pharmacy is supported by a large and experienced dispensary team. As Pharmacy Manager, you will partner closely with an internal Operations Lead to ensure the successful delivery of pharmacy services while maintaining a strong focus on patient care and team performance.

Our innovative pharmacy model is designed to create efficiencies and allow pharmacists to focus on what matters most - caring for patients.

The pharmacy benefits from:

Your Role

As Pharmacy Manager, you will collaborate with both internal and external healthcare partners to operate a best-in-class, efficient community pharmacy while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.

You will also play a key leadership role within the on-site Murphy's Pharmacy Care Clinic, practicing to your full scope and helping expand access to pharmacist-led healthcare services, including:

  • Primary care services
  • Medication optimization
  • Prescribing and assessment services
  • Preventative healthcare programs
  • Vaccinations and patient education

This position offers a rare opportunity to combine operational leadership with advanced clinical practice in one of Prince Edward Island's most prominent community pharmacy locations.

What You Will Bring

In addition to a passion for patient care and leadership, successful candidates will have:

  • A license to practice pharmacy in PEI or another Canadian province
  • Experience leading healthcare professionals and building collaborative teams
  • A minimum of three years of management experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment
  • A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional patient outcomes
  • A passion for developing teams and team member performance
