The posting

Name of Authority: Geylang Methodist School (Secondary)

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028.

Actual deployment: 1 January to 30 November in each year (11 months per year).

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

* Mondays to Fridays: 6:45am to 11:45am.

* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

The following qualifications, skills and experience are preferred:

* Ability to speak, read and write English to handle enquiries, school correspondence and administrative records.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

* Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, with a professional and courteous approach.

* Three years of administration or customer service experience is preferred.

* Experience managing secondary school students is preferred; three years of experience in an educational institution is an advantage.

Job Scopes:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Handle telephone calls, walk-in enquiries, deliveries, school mail and parcel dispatch; attend to students who are unwell.

2. Keep the reception area clean and tidy.

3. Prepare and verify documents at the counter; check student application forms for completeness and inform parents of application outcomes.

4. Maintain the school's telephone directory and follow up on the collection of Singapore Graduation Certificates.

5. Compile daily staff attendance and assist with monthly attendance reporting.

6. Perform other duties assigned by the Admin Managers.
