6 Months Contract CDD Remediation Specialist #BJJ

Our client, a leading local bank, is seeking a CDD Remediation Specialist to join the SG Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) team. The successful candidate will support the ongoing CDD remediation and review of existing client accounts, ensuring compliance with the bank’s AML/CFT policies and regulatory requirements.

Salary: S$5,000 to S$6,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Support the SG ECDD Team in conducting ongoing reviews and event-triggered reviews of existing client accounts.

• Partner with Front Office and Middle Office to ensure timely and effective completion of CDD reviews.

• Engage Front Office to obtain relevant KYC and transactional information, supporting documents and corroborative evidence.

• Conduct detailed desktop reviews and assess the adequacy and completeness of customer information and documentation.

• Work closely with Front Office to ensure reviews are conducted to a high standard and within the required timelines.

• Provide guidance and respond to Front Office queries relating to the bank’s AML/CFT policies, CDD procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Identify gaps, inconsistencies or areas requiring further clarification and follow up with relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure appropriate records are retained for audit and compliance purposes.

• Support other Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) activities and projects on an ad-hoc basis as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Accountancy or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in CDD, KYC, AML, EDD, CDD remediation or financial crime compliance within a banking or financial services environment.

• Experience handling periodic reviews, event-triggered reviews or remediation projects will be highly advantageous.

• Good understanding of AML/CFT requirements, KYC processes and customer due diligence principles.

• Strong analytical and investigative skills with good attention to detail.

• Able to review and assess complex customer information and supporting documentation.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in working with Front Office teams.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
