Job Responsible
- Handle daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and general ledger transactions.
- Process supplier invoices, payment requests, staff claims, and ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained.
- Perform daily bank transactions and bank reconciliations, ensuring all payments are accurately recorded.
- Prepare payment vouchers, online banking payments, and monitor payment status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payables and follow up with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, and payment discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and management reports.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, and other external parties on accounting-related matters.
- Assist with audit, tax, and statutory requirements by providing relevant documents and accounting information.
- Ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or superior.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliation.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
