Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Account Executive to support the company’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-set accounts, payment processing, reconciliations, GST submissions, audit support, inventory-related accounting matters, and preparation of financial reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full-set accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), general ledger and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare, maintain and follow up on payment schedules, and provide daily and weekly updates to management.
  • Process payments and ensure funds are accurately disbursed and credited to the relevant bank accounts.
  • Prepare daily bank balance reports and update daily banking transactions.
  • Perform daily credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare daily sales reports for the Director and Management.
  • Prepare annual Fixed Asset Depreciation Reports and maintain relevant fixed asset records.
  • Manage petty cash and process staff reimbursement claims.
  • Prepare bank deposits for cash collections.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
  • Prepare yearly commission statements.
  • Support monthly inventory stock-take activities, including disposal and write-off of assets and inventory.
  • Assist with e-commerce payment reconciliation and related accounting matters.
  • Review financial transactions and maintain proper accounting document control procedures.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Work closely with management to provide supporting documents and information required for audits.
  • Liaise with banks, government authorities and other external parties on accounting, financial and costing matters.
  • Maintain proper filing and organisation of accounting and financial documents.
  • Perform other accounting, administrative and ad hoc duties assigned by the Director or Management.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or relevant professional qualifications such as LCCI / ACCA.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience handling full-set accounts is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliation and GST preparation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Well-organised, meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Able to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with management, auditors, banks and external parties.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
