Job Summary

Join Conquest Design Group as an Accounts Assistant to manage financial transactions, support monthly closings, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced interior design environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping andaccounting transactions.
  • Manage AP/AR, invoicing, paymentprocessing and bank reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate accounting recordsand assist with month-end closing.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers andexternal accountants on accounts matters.
  • Handle general office administrationand office operations.
  • Manage office supplies, vendors,filing and other administrative matters.
  • Assist with staff administrativematters and ad-hoc tasks.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant Accounts &Administration experience
  • Experience in the interior design industry is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero or similar
  • Strong attention to detail demonstrated by accurate financial record-keeping
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple finance tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and suppliers
