The posting

The Accounts Assistant provides support on all accounting processes, ensures the accuracy of the accounting entries, assists during monthly, quarterly and year end closing, and audit. You will be working closely with the accounting team based in Singapore to perform functions in general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The position is based primarily in Changi Business Park, at 6 Changi South St. 3 at The Reserve.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Sales Orders and Sales Invoices and follow up on collections

• Process Purchase Orders and prepare for payments

• Process Vendor Invoices and prepare for payments

• Process employees’ claims in accordance with the company’s policies and approval matrix

• Perform bank reconciliation monthly

• Post accounting entries to the company’s accounting system

• Maintain account schedules and calculations

• Provide support during internal and external audits

• Other general administration support and ad-hoc accounting related tasks

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent. Fresh diploma or degree graduates are welcome to apply.

• With accounting experience is preferred

• Meticulous and good analytical skills

• Strong work ethic with a positive and can-do attitude

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Customer oriented and accountable

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel & Word

• Good English communication skills, both written and oral
