Accounts & Centre Operations Executive
WeTalk Education Centre | Orchard Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm Salary: S$2,800–S$3,200/month
About the Role
We are a boutique and growing education centre looking for a friendly, organised and dependable Accounts & Centre Operations Executive to join our small team.
The role combines accounts and payroll with student administration, customer service and general centre support. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable working independently and would like to grow alongside us as our centre and programmes expand.
What You’ll Be Doing
Accounts & Payroll
- Handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
- Manage student fees, collections, invoices and receipts
- Follow up on outstanding payments
- Process supplier invoices, staff claims and payments
- Handle monthly payroll for full-time, part-time and teaching staff
- Track staff/teacher attendance and working hours for payroll
- Prepare salary calculations, payslips and CPF-related payroll matters
- Maintain proper accounts, payment and payroll records
- Perform basic bank/payment reconciliations
- Prepare simple monthly accounts and payment reports
Centre Administration & Customer Service
- Maintain student enrolment and attendance records
- Track lesson packages, absences, make-up lessons and renewals
- Handle enquiries from parents and students via WhatsApp, phone and in person
- Assist with registrations, trial classes and enrolment follow-ups
- Coordinate class schedules and basic teacher administration
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the centre
- Assist with centre events, open houses and special programmes when required
- Provide general administrative support to the team
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounts and payroll
- Able to handle routine accounts and payroll matters independently
- Comfortable with invoicing, payments, payroll and basic reconciliation
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general office applications
- Organised, responsible and attentive to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to multi-task and follow through on tasks
- Friendly and comfortable communicating with parents, students and teachers
- Able to communicate and write in English and Mandarin; Chinese literacy is an advantage
- Education/enrichment centre or SME experience is an advantage, but not essential
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm 5-day work week
Occasional support may be required for centre events or special programmes outside regular working hours, with advance notice.
