Accounts Executive

Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 (commensurate with experience)

Working Location: 120 Eunos Avenue 7, #01-04, Richfield Industrial Centre, Singapore 409574

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations across multiple companies, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely completion of assigned accounting tasks.

You will work closely with our Accounts team to support the smooth running of the department.

Responsibilities

1. Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).

2. Manage daily accounting transactions across multiple companies.

3. Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including CPF submissions.

4. Prepare quarterly GST returns and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

5. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial reports.

6. Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

7. Issue invoices, monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.

8. Prepare payment vouchers and process supplier payments.

9. Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

10. Perform month-end and year-end closing within stipulated deadlines.

11. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

12. Review and reconcile outstanding accounting entries to ensure records are accurate and up to date.

13. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and government authorities.

14. Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring and other finance-related activities.

15. Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounting experience.

2. Good knowledge of Singapore accounting practices, GST, payroll and month-end closing.

3. Proficient in accounting software such as MYOB and Xero.

4. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

5. Experience handling accounts for multiple companies is an advantage.

6. Able to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

7. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.

8. Responsible, disciplined, proactive and committed to completing assigned tasks.

9. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
