The posting

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handlefull set of accounts for clients

o Book-keeping o Preparation of Unaudited financial statements o GST matters, including performing GST reconciliation and e-filing of GST

  • Handle payroll jobs. This includes the preparation of monthly payroll (including CPFsubmission) and yearly IR8A forms.
  • Handle Tax jobs. This includes the preparation of ECI, computation of tax, e-filing ofCorporate Tax/Personal Income Tax
  • Liaise professionally with clients on accounting and tax-related matters.
  • Assist clients to manage and handle their in-house accounting functions.
  • Render service in office or at client’s office.
  • Responsible for completion of job within timeframe and helping clients to meet theirvarious statutory (IRAS, ACRA) deadlines.
  • Meet company monthly targets.
  • Guide/mentor Accounts Associates/Assistants in achieving team goals and customer fulfilment.
  • Any other matters assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or relevant Professional Accounting Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience

o Working as an accounts staff across various industries; and

o Preparing full sets of accounts.

OR

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience

o Working in an accounting firm; and

o Preparing full sets of accounts.

  • Positive attitude, hardworking and able to work independently
  • Experience in Xero will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills — articulate, persuasive, and confident in both written and oral communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal- and results-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
