The posting

Company Overview: We are a leading meat importer and distributor serving a wide network of hotels, airlines, and supermarkets in Singapore. Our operations also include a manufacturing line for value-added meat products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts receivable/ payables aging for review
  • Handle office expenses, staff claims and bank reconciliation
  • Prepare payment documents
  • Reconcile of AP invoices against suppliers' statements, send statement of accounts to customers and chase overdue debts
  • Perform month end closing of accounts including preparation of management accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules
  • Assist in monthly closing
  • Chase and follow up with customers on outstanding payments
  • Ad-hoc activities as assigned by management
  • Ensure adherence to the Accounting Financial Manual and Accounting Policies
  • Calculating cost for production inventory Requirements:
  • Positive and resourceful, good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Able to converse in English and Chinese. We are seeking candidates proficient in Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment
  • Proactive and Independent
