The posting

Support the administration of preschool subsidy schemes and placement services for families, including processing applications, handling feedback and appeals, coordinating with preschools and stakeholders, and ensuring timely service delivery.

Nearest MRT: Somerset (Central) Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm Salary: Up to $3.3K per month Duration: 6-months contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Process applications for infant-care, childcare, preschool subsidies and the Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS), ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Handle parents’ and preschools’ enquiries, feedback and appeals related to subsidies and preschool placements.
  • Manage preschool placement appeals, engage parents on available options and facilitate the matching and enrolment of children with preschools.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation, while following up on outstanding information and actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and perform other duties related to subsidy processing and preschool placement as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
  • Experience in customer service or client management
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Service-oriented, resourceful and detail-conscious
  • Comfortable handling applications, enquiries and case-related follow-up
  • Grant-administration experience is an advantage
