About the Role 📍 Location: Nearest MRT, Central 🕒 Working Hours: Monday - Friday : 8.30am - 6.00pm 💰 Salary: Up to $3.3K/month 🗓 Start Date: Immediate 📅 Duration: 12-month contract

Summary Of The Role Help assess applications for student care financial assistance and support families and community partners. In this role, you’ll review applications against scheme eligibility criteria, recommend appropriate subsidies and assistance periods, and help ensure cases are processed accurately. You’ll also handle appeals and liaise with applicants and stakeholders when more information is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess Student Care Financial Assistance applications against eligibility criteria.
  • Recommend suitable subsidy levels and assistance durations.
  • Handle appeals from parents, student care operators, social workers and other relevant parties.
  • Process refunds for overpayments and follow up on incomplete applications.
  • Use case-processing systems and established procedures to manage applications efficiently.

Key Requirements:

  • At least a Degree studies or any related discipline.
  • Able to assess applications against established criteria and handle information accurately.
  • Able to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and willing to learn new systems.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience in grant-related disbursement will be an advantage.
