Summary

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to help design, build, and deploy intelligent applications powered by modern AI technologies.

This role blends AI engineering, backend development, and systems integration, offering the opportunity to work on scalable solutions that automate processes, enhance decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will develop production-grade applications that integrate with enterprise platforms, data systems, and external services while contributing to the design and evolution of innovative AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and deploy AI agent systems and backend services.
  • Develop scalable APIs and system integrations.
  • Integrate AI solutions with infrastructure, operational and enterprise platforms.
  • Implement monitoring, automation and decision-making workflows.
  • Design and implement safety, security and operational guardrails.
  • Test, validate and optimise solutions in real-world environments.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable and production-ready.
  • Troubleshoot and improve backend services, integrations and agent behaviour.

Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of software engineering or backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience building APIs and distributed systems.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI, LLM or agent-based applications.
  • Strong understanding of backend development, software architecture and system integration.
  • Experience working with production environments and software delivery practices.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Golang and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar technologies.
  • Experience with cloud, platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, observability tooling or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with GPU environments, AI infrastructure or MLOps platforms.
  • Exposure to operational technology, industrial systems, IoT or infrastructure monitoring platforms.
