The posting

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of AI/ML solutions and applications.
  • Work with technical leads, architects and development teams to translate business and technical requirements into AI/ML solutions.
  • Develop, test and optimize machine learning models and AI-related applications.
  • Support the end-to-end ML development lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, testing, deployment and monitoring.
  • Perform data analysis, data mapping and data preparation to support AI/ML model development.
  • Integrate AI/ML models and solutions with existing applications, systems and data platforms.
  • Conduct testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of AI/ML solutions.
  • Work with application, infrastructure, security and testing teams to ensure solutions meet technical, security and operational standards.
  • Support system integration, SIT/UAT and performance testing activities where required.
  • Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend appropriate solutions or improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, data flows, model documentation and testing documentation.
  • Monitor and optimize existing AI/ML solutions to improve performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI/ML technologies, tools and industry practices, and identify opportunities to apply them within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support successful project delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning, Data Science or AI application development.
  • Candidates with strong university AI/ML projects, internships or relevant academic experience will also be considered.
  • Experience developing or working with machine learning models and AI/ML applications.
  • Good understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas or equivalent.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, statistics and basic machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with structured or unstructured data.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is an advantage.
  • Experience with APIs, application integration, Git and CI/CD is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work through complex problems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
