Job Summary

Manage air freight operations including airline bookings, shipment coordination, documentation, invoicing, and customer service to ensure efficient export processes and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate airline bookings and manage related procedures to ensure timely shipments
  • Oversee daily shipment orders and track progress to maintain export schedules
  • Prepare and manage full sets of export documents to comply with regulations
  • Communicate with destination offices and agents to provide shipment pre-alerts
  • Issue accurate invoices to customers and agents for services rendered
  • Print House Air Waybills (HAWB), manifests, and Master Air Waybills (MAWB) for airline submissions
  • Prepare billing for local deliveries and verify vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Respond to customer inquiries and quotations, manage agent correspondences, and provide effective solutions to issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight, preferably within Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Proficiency in Cargowise 1 system for freight management
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel
  • Demonstrated proactive, pragmatic, and independent work approach
  • Strong attention to detail in handling documentation and billing
