- Manage cargo space planning and shipment allocation to improve capacity utilisation and freight cost efficiency.
- Track shipment milestones and communicate timely updates to customers, airlines, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and obtain freight quotations from airlines and carriers, including rates, space availability, and shipment-related requirements.
- Maintain and review buying and selling rate structures to support pricing competitiveness, revenue generation, and gross profit objectives.
- Monitor shipment execution to ensure bookings, agreed freight rates, and uplift schedules are aligned with customer and carrier commitments.
- Analyse shipment performance and prepare operational and profitability reports for management review.
- Coordinate RFQs and tender exercises, including rate collection, pricing comparisons, and proposal preparation.
- Support the sales team with customer quotations, pricing enquiries, and customised freight solutions.
- Monitor prevailing airline and carrier buying rates alongside customer selling rates to identify suitable pricing options.
- Coordinate the prioritisation and consolidation of rolled-over or pending shipments to maximise space utilisation and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Execute freight bookings with airlines and carriers based on confirmed rates, shipment requirements, and available capacity.
- Collaborate with customer service and warehouse teams to align cargo readiness, booking schedules, and planned uplift dates.
