Job description
• Lead and oversee architectural design development, providing professional expertise and strategic design input to achieve project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Director, Associate Director, Technical Director, consultants, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of design intent, technical requirements, and project delivery.
• Manage the day-to-day coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring key milestones, deliverables, quality standards, and project programmes are effectively achieved.
• Prepare and lead design presentations, architectural proposals, project documentation, and statutory submissions, ensuring a high standard of professional and technical output.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate approvals, resolve design and technical matters, and maintain effective project communication.
• Manage project correspondence, meetings, design coordination, and documentation to ensure efficient project administration and a smooth overall workflow.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, supporting design quality, technical development, and professional standards while contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
• Recognised Degree in Architecture; preferably a Qualified Person (QP) registered with the Singapore Board of Architects, with Green Mark certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in architectural practice.
• Proven experience in managing projects from concept design through to construction and completion.
• Strong experience in liaising and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders on design, technical, and site-related matters.
• Experienced in coordinating and preparing construction documentation, technical drawings, and project deliverables.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a proactive team environment.
• Knowledge and experience in contract administration, with a good understanding of prevailing statutory regulations, codes, guidelines, and construction requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM workflows and software will be an advantage.
