Job Summary

Support the Planning Manager by coordinating architectural design detailing, resolving site issues, and ensuring quality and compliance in construction projects using BIM and other tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate architectural design detailing between clients and consultants to ensure alignment and project progress
  • Review, update, and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Resolve site architectural issues such as drawing discrepancies and method statements to uphold quality and productivity using BIM software or equivalent
  • Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to prevent conflicts, disputes, and abortive work
  • Ensure architectural works comply with specifications and authority requirements without deviation
  • Schedule architectural works, manage material requisition, control costs, supervise projects, and maintain documentation aligned with the Master Programme
  • Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to support contract and procurement management
  • Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to facilitate smooth work transitions
  • Inspect ongoing work, resolve issues, and monitor rectifications to maintain quality standards
  • Coordinate submission and status updates of architectural drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials while supervising work progress
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors and conduct routine inspections of installed works
  • Prepare and coordinate Quality Management (QM) and CONQUAS assessments to ensure compliance
  • Compile and hand over architectural documentation including as-built drawing submissions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience on PPVC or PBU projects
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies
  • Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities such as BCA
  • Good team collaboration skills
  • Completion of QM project and registration as Core-trade Foreman/Supervisor is an added advantage
