Job Description
• Lead and manage the architectural team in the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of projects.
• Oversee the development and review of architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and relevant project parties to ensure timely and accurate follow-up on all technical architectural requirements.
• Lead and guide project teams to uphold architectural standards, design quality, and project requirements throughout large-scale construction projects.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor architectural works, verify compliance with approved designs and specifications, and ensure project progress is maintained.
• Attend and lead client, consultant, technical coordination, and site meetings to address architectural and technical matters.
• Oversee statutory submissions and ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
• Review and resolve architectural, technical, and site-related issues in coordination with consultants and relevant project parties.
• Monitor architectural deliverables, project programmes, and quality standards to ensure timely project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the architectural team, supporting staff development and effective project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on architectural and project-related matters.
• Support the Project Director/Associate in overall project management and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination, drafting, or BIM-related work.
• Experienced in reviewing and ensuring the quality and accuracy of 2D architectural drawings and BIM models.
• Proficient in conducting BIM clash detection and coordination, carrying out BIM modelling, and preparing and distributing clash reports to facilitate effective coordination.
• Experienced in preparing and coordinating architectural submissions to relevant government authorities, as well as tender and construction drawings.
• Assist Architects in identifying and resolving non-compliance, technical, and coordination issues.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, sub-consultants, government agencies, and statutory authorities on architectural and technical matters.
• Strong understanding of architectural documentation, coordination processes, and relevant statutory requirements.
