Job Description:
At Tasek’s Art Lab, participants explore their artistic potential using unconventional methods and multi-medium artwork. Our exploratory and self-discovery approach creates a nurturing environment for participants to express their creativity fully.
We seek a passionate freelance Art Lab Instructor to guide and inspire primary school students in their creative journey. The instructor will deliver engaging, student-centric art sessions, helping participants develop their artistic style while encouraging confidence and self-expression.
Responsibilities:
● Plan, develop, and conduct a structured art curriculum and weekly art sessions forP1-P3 (11:30am - 12:30pm) and P4-P6 (9:30am - 11:00am) students on Saturdays.
● Use exploratory and self-discovery approaches to foster creativity and artistic development.
● Incorporate various techniques such as painting, drawing, mixed media, 3D, and experimental art.
● Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment tailored to the abilities and interests of each age group.
● Provide constructive feedback and encourage students to take pride in their artistic expression.
● Align lessons with Tasek’s mission of fostering creativity and self-discovery through art.
● Encourage participants to present their artwork through student-centric activities and exhibitions.
● Support the planning and preparation of student showcases, exhibitions, and programme-related events where required.
Job Requirements:
● Proven experience in teaching art to children, preferably primary school students.
● Passionate about fostering creativity and self-expression in young learners.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to Saturday classes during the MOE school term.
