1. Regional Business Strategy & Growth Planning

  • Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Lead annual and multi-year strategic planning processes across Asia subsidiaries.
  • Identify business opportunities, growth drivers, and strategic priorities to support sustainable business expansion.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.

2. Performance Management & Business Review

  • Establish regional business performance management frameworks and KPIs.
  • Monitor subsidiary business performance, productivity indicators, and operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with subsidiaries and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the Regional CEO and Regional CFO in business planning, forecasting, and management discussions.

3. Workforce Productivity & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead workforce productivity improvement initiatives across the region.
  • Develop workforce optimization strategies aligned with regional business objectives.
  • Review organizational structures, leadership efficiency, span of control, and workforce planning models.
  • Support subsidiaries in implementing productivity enhancement and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

4. Strategic Projects & Transformation Initiatives

  • Lead regional strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, SCM, and Operations organizations.
  • Monitor project execution, milestones, risks, and business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and business process optimization across subsidiaries.

5. Regional Governance & Business Alignment

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Regional CEO on key business and organizational matters.
  • Facilitate alignment between HQ direction and subsidiary execution plans.
  • Support governance activities related to business planning, investment reviews, and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of regional strategic initiatives across subsidiaries.

6. Business Analytics & Decision Support

  • Develop regional business dashboards and analytical frameworks.
  • Analyze business performance, market trends, profitability, labor productivity, and operational metrics.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through fact-based analysis.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.

Education Level and/or relevant experience(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum10 years of business planning, corporate strategy, management consulting, finance, business development, or related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in regional or multinational business environments preferred.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of corporate strategy, business planning, and performance management.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, and organizational transformation.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of Asian business environments and cultural diversity.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
