The posting

Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Management Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of IT and client assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys process optimization, and has strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle, including delivery, tagging, withdrawal, deployment, collection, and disposal.
  • Lead and mentor the asset management team, driving a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Service Delivery Manager, Desktop Engineers) and external customers to ensure smooth coordination of asset activities.
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide updates on asset status, requirements, risks, and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records; generate and present asset management reports as required.
  • Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asset management, logistics, or operations coordination.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in asset management tools or systems (e.g., ServiceNow) will be an advantage.
  • Comfortable with walking moderate distances (10–15 minutes) within customer premises.
  • Physically able to handle IT equipment (e.g., laptops, desktops, monitors) for store transfers when required.
