What you'll do:
As an Assistant Brand Manager (12 months Contract), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of beloved confectionery brands across SEA. Your day-to-day will involve orchestrating multi-market marketing plans that bring brand positioning to life through creative campaigns spanning above-the-line and below-the-line activities. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams—ranging from Sales to Supply Chain—to ensure every initiative is executed flawlessly.
By leveraging your analytical skills, you will monitor performance metrics monthly, present findings to leadership teams, and recommend strategies for continued growth. You will also oversee packaging artwork development projects while managing promotional plans that resonate with consumers in each market. Financial stewardship will be key as you track budgets and manage vendor relationships. Success in this role requires adaptability within a matrixed environment, meticulous attention to detail when handling multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for delivering results that delight consumers.
- Assist in planning and executing annual marketing plans for the candy portfolio across SEA region.
- Develop, brief, manage, and implement comprehensive 360-degree brand campaigns including media strategy, new product launches, and marketing activities tailored to local market dynamics.
- Work closely with regional marketing teams and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
- Monitor social media pages for the brands and coordinate with agencies to maintain engaging content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Track and analyse monthly sell-in and sell-out performance using internal sales data and external sources like Nielsen; identify growth prospects and recommend actionable plans based on insights.
- Present brand performance updates and strategic plans to regional leadership teams while leading discussions with research partners to track brand health and scout new opportunities.
- Manage packaging artwork development processes by coordinating inputs from stakeholders; ensure accuracy of visuals and timely approvals for new packaging launches.
- Oversee promotional plans including POSM localisation by collaborating with Trade Marketing teams; develop on-pack designs and premiums ensuring compliance with legal and quality requirements.
- Handle financial management responsibilities such as tracking brand budgets across markets, updating finance teams on A&P spendings, overseeing purchase orders and invoices for accurate payments.
- Manage vendor relationships including service agreements and negotiations to ensure smooth operations throughout campaign cycles.
