Job Description
- Perform laboratory testing on samples, including Base, Sediment and Water (BSW), ash content, water by distillation, flash point, sediment by extraction, density and viscosity.
- Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) for third-party testing services and laboratory consumables.
- Maintain and update inventory records in the D365 system.
- Support the Chemist in ad hoc and routine testing activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for final products in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with vendors for laboratory equipment and consumables.
- Record and manage test results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods.
- Support the review and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare internal training materials and support training activities.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Responsible, proactive, and goal-oriented, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a related field.
