Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in delivering major building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. Due to continued project growth, they are looking for Deputy Contract Manager to join their commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts Manager in managing tender and post-contract activities from tender stage through project completion.
- Review tender documents, prepare commercial submissions, cost analysis and tender negotiations.
- Manage day-to-day contractual and commercial matters for the project.
- Handle variations, claims, EOT submissions, contractual correspondence and cost control.
- Manage subcontract procurement, administration, claims, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
- Identify contractual risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on commercial matters.
- Support the resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, reports and commercial records.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
- 10–15 years’ relevant experience in contracts / commercial management.
- Strong experience in tendering and post-contract management.
- Proven experience in claims, EOT, variations, subcontract administration and final accounts.
- Experience in MRT, LTA or large-scale civil/infrastructure projects will be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate closely with project teams.

- Location: East (transport provided)
- Working hours: 5 Days
- Salary: up to S$9,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
