We are looking for a Assistant Events & Operations Manager, Family Experience to join our Family Experience Team!

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Programme Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of buds by Shangri-La, Splash and Family Experience activities
  • Execute and supervise children’s programmes, festive activities, events and recreational experiences
  • Ensure all facilities, activity areas, and equipment are maintained in a safe and operational condition
  • Monitor daily operations, inventory, maintenance requirements, and operational reports
  • Coordinate with contractors and relevant departments to support operational requirements and planned events
  • Ensure all government regulations, safety procedures and operational guidelines are adhered to at all times

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high standards of customer service
  • Attend to guest enquiries, requests and feedback professionally and promptly
  • Ensure proper registration and safety information for all children and adults participating in activities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Supervise, manage and motivate the Family Experience team during daily operations
  • Prepare roster scheduling and ensure manpower deployment is effectively managed
  • Conduct team briefings and maintain effective communication within the department
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and performance reviews for team members

Marketing, Events & Partnerships

  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities, partnership events and promotional campaigns for Family Experience
  • Support the planning and implementation of engaging and educational activity programmes for local and overseas guests
  • Liaise with internal departments to support hotel events and Family Experience initiatives

Administration & Financial Operations

  • Support finance and administrative processes including purchase orders, invoices, inventory control and revenue reporting
  • Monitor daily POS reports, attendance records and incident reports
  • Ensure operational documentation and reporting are properly maintained

Safety, Hygiene & Compliance

  • Uphold hotel hygiene, sanitation, grooming and safety standards at all times
  • Ensure compliance with SFSMS/HACCP procedures and workplace safety protocols
  • Support emergency preparedness and life safety initiatives, including First Aid readiness and training coordination

Key Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Kids Club, Theme Park, Childcare, Recreation or Family Experience operations preferred
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Minimum Degree/Diploma holders
  • Possesses strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in children’s activities, event coordination and operational management
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
