What this job involves:

As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing day-to-day Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. In this role, you will oversee workplace improvements, manage vendor relationships, coordinate essential facility systems, and ensure full compliance with safety regulations. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees. By driving operational excellence and maintaining strong stakeholder relations, you will help create an environment where productivity flourishes. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career, making this an ideal next step for an ambitious facilities professional looking to grow within a dynamic global organization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead day-to-day IFM operations, conducting regular site walk-throughs to maintain exceptional service, cleanliness, and safety standards across all office areas.
  • Oversee vendor services, including cleaning, security, and utilities, while supporting vendor selection and performance reviews in line with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Manage facility systems and financial workflows, including raising shopping carts in SAP, managing work orders in JLL Corrigo, and tracking monthly expenses against budgets.
  • Implement and manage the Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure statutory, risk, and audit compliance in accordance with company and client policies.
  • Provide 24/7 emergency response support, maintaining clear escalation protocols and incident reporting procedures for the site.
  • Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, vendors, and internal JLL teams to support workplace readiness and facilitate seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Ensure full compliance with EHS policies and statutory regulations, conducting regular inspections, coordinating safety programs, and managing site-specific EHS inductions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the onsite facilities team, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused environment because we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.

Required qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, Property / Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Facilities Management / IFM experience, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
  • Proven experience independently managing site operations and day-to-day facilities requirements.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and good follow-up / task tracking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly structured and detail-oriented client environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, and responsiveness to client requirements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating within the Singapore commercial real estate and facilities management market.
  • Practical, hands-on experience using SAP for procurement and JLL Corrigo for work order management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to both clients and internal partners.
  • A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach, aligning with JLL's culture of collaboration, locally and across the globe.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
