The posting

Role Overview

Accelerate B2B enterprise growth by shaping the future of workforce transformation. In this strategic commercial role, you will build executive-level partnerships with HR decision-makers and C-suite leaders to solve complex capability gaps.

You will consult on and secure premier learning solutions across cutting-edge domains—including AI & Digital Transformation, Strategic Leadership, Analytics, and Executive Coaching. We are seeking a solution-oriented commercial leader who combines executive presence and business acumen with the credibility to drive multi-year corporate partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

1. Solution Scoping & Enterprise Packaging (Primary Focus)

  • Client Needs Analysis: Lead diagnostic meetings with HR Directors and L&D Managers to identify organizational performance gaps and training objectives.
  • Customize & Package Solutions: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Faculty to tailor masterclasses, executive cohorts, and custom in-house programs.
  • High-Impact Proposals: Draft, price, and present structured, ROI-focused commercial proposals that align client objectives with Aventis's learning solutions and funding frameworks (e.g., IBF / SkillsFuture).

2. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Account Acquisition: Proactively prospect and engage mid-to-large enterprise accounts, converting inbound inquiries and warm leads into active corporate accounts.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Oversee complex B2B sales cycles from initial discovery and proposal presentation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Quota Ownership: Consistently meet or exceed individual quarterly and annual revenue targets across custom in-house runs and open-enrollment executive series.

3. Strategic Account Management & Retention

  • Client Advisory: Serve as a primary account partner, building long-term relationships to convert single-run bookings into annual corporate learning roadmaps.
  • Account Expansion: Maximize account lifetime value through upsells, cross-departmental referrals, and contract renewals.

4. Operations & Pipeline Governance

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure seamless transition from commercial closing to program operations and trainer delivery.
  • Pipeline Forecasting: Maintain strict CRM discipline, managing lead progression, deal velocity, and accurate monthly revenue forecasting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Annual Revenue Quota: Consistent achievement of individual target revenue across custom and high-value executive programs.
  • Enterprise Conversion Rate: Strong proposal-to-close ratio on mid-to-large corporate accounts.
  • Account Retention & Expansion: High repeat-booking rate and multi-run contract growth from key corporate clients.
  • Pipeline Health: Healthy deal velocity, proactive outreach activity, and accurate CRM forecasting.

Requirements & Key Competencies

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful B2B consultative sales, business development, or key account management experience within Executive Education, Corporate L&D, Higher Education, or Management Consulting.
  • Solution Selling Expertise: Proven track record of qualifying complex business needs, packaging corporate training solutions, and closing high-value B2B deals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent pitch presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated confidence engaging HR Leaders and Senior Managers.
  • Funding & L&D Knowledge: Familiarity with corporate training frameworks, L&D metrics, and Singapore government subsidies (e.g., IBF/SkillsFuture) is highly advantageous.
  • Education Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
