We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable and commercially minded professional to join our Investor Relations team.

Our company is going through a period of change as we continue to stay relevant, create value for our stakeholders and grow. We are looking for someone who is not only technically capable, but also has the right mindset, creativity and willingness to embrace challenges and new ways of working.

The role will support the execution of investor relations strategies, shareholder engagement initiatives, corporate communications and capital-raising activities. Working closely with senior management, investors, business units and external stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to take ownership, develop ideas and make a tangible difference to the Company's market presence and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations, Corporate Communications Strategy & Planning

  • Execute the approved investor relations and corporate communications plan in collaboration with senior management.
  • Work with the Head of IR to provide insights and recommendations to enhance investor engagement and corporate communications.
  • Monitor market developments, investor sentiment and industry trends and identify relevant opportunities or issues.

Shareholders' Club Management

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance shareholder engagement and participation in the Straits Trading Shareholders' Club.
  • Oversee registration, eligibility and membership records.
  • Plan and manage shareholder events, including networking sessions, industry talks, webinars and special trips.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and data protection requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, speakers and business unit heads to enhance shareholder engagement and co-investment opportunities.
  • Manage shareholder communications and the Shareholders' Club database.
  • Generate insights through analytics, dashboards and multiple data collection channels.

Financial & Corporate Communications

  • Manage and coordinate investor relations events, including investor and analyst presentations, roadshows and conference calls.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, press releases and other communications materials.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of external-facing materials.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across investor communications.

Reporting, Analysis & Materials Management

  • Prepare and review periodic investor relations analysis, reports and regulatory reporting materials.
  • Analyse asset performance, market trends and relevant financial information to provide insights to investors and directors.
  • Supervise the production, updating and distribution of market materials to current and prospective investors.

Capital Raising & Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party consultants, banks, trustees and other relevant parties.
  • Support the Company's capital-raising activities and branding initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the Company's market presence and investor appeal.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential investors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for investor enquiries and communications.

Special Projects

  • Lead or support special projects and corporate initiatives as directed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology and enhance stakeholder engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including work exigencies and secondments that may arise as requested by the Company.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or related roles.
  • Experience managing membership-based groups will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and financial modelling.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and use of AI productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg will be an advantage.
  • IRPAS or IRS UK International Certificate in Investor Relations will be an advantage.
  • Participation in CFA / CAIA programme preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
