Responsibilities:

  • Manage and integrate supply and demand management within and across companies.
  • Responsible and accountable for the management of upstream and downstream value-added flows of materials, final good and related information among suppliers, company and end customers/users.
  • Responsible to lay down systematic, strategic coordination of business functions and tactics across all business functions within the company and across businesses within the procurement to improve long term performance of each company / subsidiaries and as a whole.
  • Manage and responsible to enhance planning and of all activities involved sourcing and procurement management.
  • Manage and strategize total systems view of the link in the procurement to work together efficiently to create customer satisfaction at the end point of delivery to customers.
  • Manage and ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness throughout the total chain.
  • Ensure the total procurement system must be responsive to customers’ requirements and purchase conforms to specified purchase requirements.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to supply in accordance with the international, customers and organization's requirements.
  • Establish criteria for selection, evaluation and re-evaluation of procurement.
  • Integrate and manage key business processes across total procurement to create value for customers and stakeholders.
  • Responsible and accountable for planning and management of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, conversion, and logistics which also include collaboration with channel partners. Example suppliers, intermediaries, third party services providers, or customers.
  • Manage and enhance ongoing relationship with the manufacturers, suppliers and contractors to ensure that the organization receive satisfactory standards of service at all times.
  • Plan the utilization of resources are optimized, work allocation is distributed fairly as well as delivery schedules and targets are met.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly purchases, supplies & deliveries reports and statistics are reported on-time to Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum Degree in Electronics & Electrical or Business/Procurement, preferably related to procurement/ purchasing management.
  • Minimum 5 years and above of experience in purchasing; comprehensive knowledge in strategic procurement;
  • Knowledge in Harsh Environment and TSI.
  • Able to handle General Administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and hands-on, positive work attitude.
