We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Process Engineer to join our Selective Plating team. The successful candidate will support plating operations, drive process improvements, ensure product quality, and maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform plating solution analysis and chemical replenishment.
- Support daily production operations and engineering projects.
- Drive productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop, review, and maintain process documentation (PMP, FMEA, Work Instructions).
- Investigate and resolve production and quality issues.
- Liaise with customers on technical and project-related matters.
- Implement containment actions and prevent shipment of nonconforming products.
- Initiate stop-production or stop-shipment actions for critical quality issues.
- Support environmental management activities and resource conservation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Water Efficiency, and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Participate in risk assessments and workplace safety improvement activities.
- Report quality, environmental, or safety concerns to the relevant authority.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Preferably 1-3 years of experience in plating, surface treatment, electroplating, or manufacturing environments.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Hours: 7.50am to 4.55pm (Mondays - Fridays)
The salary package will be commensurate with relevant experience and skills.
