Assistant Project Manager

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Assistant Project Manager to support in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in managing day-to-day project and site operations.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and internal departments.

• Monitor project progress, work schedules, manpower deployment, materials, and site activities.

• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, progress reports, work programmes, and project documentation.

• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and project meetings, and follow up on outstanding matters.

• Coordinate submissions, drawings, materials, inspections, and approvals required for project execution.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to schedule.

• Identify site issues, delays, and coordination problems, and assist the Project Director in resolving them promptly.

• Liaise with the Quantity Surveying team on variations, additional works, procurement, and project cost matters.

• Work closely with the Safety team to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.

• Assist in coordinating inspections, testing, handover, defect rectification, and project completion activities.

• Maintain proper project records, site documentation, reports, and correspondence.

• Support the Project Director in ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety requirements.

• Perform any other project-related duties assigned by the Project Director.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

• Experience with a main contractor will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of construction processes, site coordination, drawings, and project documentation.

• Able to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.

• Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Responsible, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.

• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

• Able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office and relevant construction or project management software.

• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate should be able to support the Project Manager closely, follow up on site and project matters, coordinate different parties, and ensure tasks are completed properly and on time.

Candidates with good attitude, strong ownership, teamwork, and willingness to take responsibility will be highly valued.

Note: Our current office is located at 125A Kitchener Road, Singapore 208513 We will be moving to Stellar @ Tampines Mid October 2026
