As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be part of the action, leading the team, creating great guest experiences and building the skills to run a high-performing restaurant.

You’ll work across FOH and BOH, develop your leadership skills and gain hands-on experience across the different parts of the business. If you’re ready to grow, take on more responsibility and build your career, there’s plenty of room to go further at GYG.

Your Role

  • Lead and develop the team across FOH & BOH
  • Create a positive, high-energy environment for the team and guests
  • Keep service running smoothly and standards consistently high
  • Support daily operations, including shifts, stock and restaurant needs
  • Build your understanding of cost control, wastage and restaurant performance
  • Coach and develop team members to bring out their best
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to drive the restaurant forward
  • Step up and take ownership when opportunities come your way

What We’re Looking For

  • F&B / restaurant management experience
  • A people-focused leader who enjoys developing others
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Organised, proactive and confident making decisions
  • Positive energy and a genuine interest in food and hospitality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
