Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive Assistant Site Engineer to join our project team and support the execution of ERSS / TERS and civil engineering works which mainly involved in LTA Projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. This is a hands-on site role with opportunities to gain practical experience in construction, temporary works, site coordination, and project execution. Candidates with relevant site experience will also be considered for a more senior position.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating daily site activities and construction works
  • Monitor work progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
  • Assist in coordinating workers, subcontractors, and site supervisors
  • Support site planning, resource coordination, and work sequencing
  • Assist in ensuring timely completion of site activities

Technical Support

  • Assist in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Support site measurements, quantity take-offs, and material coordination
  • Assist with the execution of ERSS/TERS and temporary works, including excavation, strutting, and support systems
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues on site

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Attend site meetings and assist with technical discussions
  • Follow up on site issues and ensure proper communication between relevant parties

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain site records, daily reports, inspection records, and relevant documentation
  • Assist in ensuring works comply with approved MOS, RA, SWP, and project requirements
  • Support WSH and site safety requirements

Quality & Safety

  • Assist with site inspections and QA/QC activities
  • Ensure workmanship meets project specifications and quality requirements
  • Assist with ITP and inspection documentation
  • Report defects, non-conformance issues, and site safety concerns
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safe working practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Candidates with relevant site or construction experience will have an advantage
  • Interest in civil, structural, foundation, ERSS / TERS, or temporary works
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Willing to learn and work in a hands-on project environment
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • AutoCAD / BIM knowledge is an advantage
