Associate Engineer / Engineer

(Entry Level to Semiconductor Industry / Fresh Diploma Welcome)

About the Role

Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking an Associate Engineer/Engineer to support engineering team on electronic/semiconductor hardware/software installation, product prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and product logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing and assist in trouble shooting and failure analysis during product development, testing, and verification.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to support hardware testing, verification, and product qualification activities.
  • Analyze test data and engineering records, while keeping technical documentation up to date.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, facilities, tools, and supplies, and handle general lab matters.
  • Perform yield analysis as and when required.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh Diploma or Degree holders are welcome to apply, with training provided.
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor components, electronic hardware, software, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with Altium or KiCad electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators/analyzers would be advantageous.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software platforms.
