Position: ATE Test Development Engineer / Product Engineer / Post-Silicon Validation Engineer Experience: Minimum 2 years Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or comparable discipline Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ATE Test Development / Product / Post-Silicon Validation Engineer with strong technical, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

The successful candidate should have a good understanding of semiconductor fabrication, testing and manufacturing processes, with hands-on exposure to ATE test platforms, product engineering, yield analysis and engineering debug activities.

The role requires an independent, resourceful engineer who can work effectively with internal Operations teams and external subcontractors to support both NPI and sustaining products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Final Test and Wafer Sort yield improvement, cycle-time reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support daily engineering debug activities, technical investigations and problem resolution.
  • Perform data collection, analysis and engineering report generation.
  • Generate, organize and maintain documentation relating to product manufacturability.
  • Support lot-on-hold disposition based on appropriate technical analysis and engineering judgement.
  • Generate and analyse yield and Pareto reports.
  • Coordinate with internal Operations teams and external subcontractors to facilitate testing of NPI and sustaining devices.
  • Support ATE test execution, troubleshooting and test-related engineering activities.
  • With Verigy 93K tool experience is an added advantage
  • Analyse test results and identify opportunities for yield, quality and manufacturing improvements.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a comparable discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
  • Experience in Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Post-Silicon Validation or related semiconductor manufacturing functions.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor fabrication, testing and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with ATE test patterns, test flows, test execution and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience in ATE testing and data analysis.
  • Experience with Teradyne ETS88, ETS364 and/or UltraFLEX (UFlex) is preferred.
  • Programming or scripting proficiency in C++ and/or Python is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and be resourceful when resolving engineering issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in Wafer Sort, Final Test, Product Engineering, ATE Debug, Yield Improvement, NPI or Post-Silicon Validation are strongly encouraged to apply.
